October tips and other fun from good ol' Deke, the Graystone church mouse.
The joint service with Lake Hills went off without a hitch – at least as far as I know. I do know that the luncheon afterwards was deelicious!! My tummy is still full. Pastor James gave a great message about unity and loyalty; and the LH choir did a lovely anthem. It was so nice to have that many people worshiping in Graystone. Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to help this all come together.
Our fall festival is coming up; and then Halloween. Hope everyone gets lots of treats!
Happy autumn,
Deke
Deke's Annual Trick-or-Treating Tips:
Be safe, kids, … make sure you can see out of your mask, and that your costume isn't long enough to trip over; wear good shoes; carry a flashlight; don't go into neighborhoods you're not familiar with; always go with an adult or older teen; and most of all… have fun!
